How To Apply

We're thrilled you're interested in our school! You're chances of acceptance are excellent so long as you have a strong desire to become a dairy farmer and a serious interest in management intensive grazing.

To apply the the Wisconsin School for Beginning Dairy and Livestock Farmers, you will need:

A completed copy of the Farm and Industry Short Course application (PDF), along with your tuition check - information about pricing is available in the Short Course brochure (PDF)
Transcripts from the school you most recently attended
A filled-out application to the School for Beginning Dairy and Livestock Farmers (PDF)
Three letters of reference that discuss your qualifications and interest in grass-based dairying

Gather all these materials and mail them to:

Scholarship Opportunities

Partly due to the strong sense of community surrounding grass-based farming, the school is able to offer many scholarship opportunities to our students. Be sure to check these out, because some of them are time sensitive!
