The Wisconsin Farmers Union 82nd Annual Convention kicks off Friday, January 25 at 1:00pm with a pre-convention workshop “Securing Farmers and Farmland – A Toolbox for Farm Succession and Beginning Farmers,” followed by our Casino Night fundraiser for Kamp Kenwood.

Saturday, in addition to convention business and addresses from invited guests, will feature an afternoon panel presentation “Cooperatives – Empowering the Rural Economy… Again.” Local author and humorist Michael Perry will be our keynote speaker at the Saturday night banquet, and afterward will entertain us with his band, The Longbeds, whose sound is described as country folk.

Sunday’s activities include workshops and convention business, concluding at 12:30pm.
