Rufus Haucke, owner of Just Local Foods, will join us to talk about the challenge of starting a business and running a farm. He’ll discuss where the idea for his current business came from, what triggered the beginning of work on the idea, where funding came from, what lessons he learned along the way, what recommendations he’d provide to others who are thinking about starting a business, and what he sees the future bringing.

Rufus has also been involved in an initiative to secure living wages for agricultural workers.
