“Out Here” film screening

Date: February 23, 7-9pm

Location: Union South, Marquee Theater

Posted February 2015

Out Here is a documentary film about the lives of queer farmers in the United States.

This film “looks at the experiences of queer farmers across the country and asks – what does it mean to be a queer farmer, is agriculture a safe space for queer people, and what are the relationships between food production and queerness?”

Teaming up with WUD Film and the Sociology and Community and Environmental Sociology departments, F.H. King Students for Sustainable Agriculture is hosting a screening of this full-length documentary film created by the Queer Farmer Film Project.

Join us at the Union South Marquee Theater on Monday, February 23 from 7-9 PM, and stay for a Q&A with the filmmaker, Jonah Mossberg, and local lesbian farmers.
