Chef’s Collaborative 2000The Chefs Collaborative 2000 is a network of over 1,000 of America's well-known chefs. The chefs promote advancing sustainable food choices for the next century through their cooking, serving, and educational practices. Restaurateurs work to strengthen the farmer/chef connection (members commit to buying from local growers whenever possible). Chefs are also involved in developing educational programs for children in schools. The network has local 'collaborative' chapters in at least 20 cities. Madison has a chapter that includes L'Etoile, Deb and Lola's, The Opera House, Restaurant Magnus, and the Dining Room at Monticello.
