Agricultural Business Training Announced

market vendorThe Michael Fields Agricultural Institute, the Agricultural Innovation Center and UW-Whitewater Small Business Development Center are pleased to announce a new course: “Tilling the Soil of Opportunity: Entrepreneurial Training for Agricultural Business Owners.” Tilling the Soil is a complete business plan development course that will set you on the path to owning a successful agricultural business. This course brings experts in law, accounting, banking, insurance, management and marketing to you in a classroom setting.

Classes will be held at Michael Fields Agricultural Institute in East Troy,
Wisconsin over the course of five Saturdays: January 13th, February 3rd and
10th, and March 3rd and 10th. Classes will meet from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Each
morning and afternoon session will feature an instructional period, an expert
speaker, and time for discussion and application of new knowledge.
