Learn By Doing: Get Involved In Farming’s Outdoor Classroom

The Michael Fields Agricultural Institute presents seasonal Garden Workshops for everyone from the novice gardener to the professional family farmer. Workshops are held Fridays and some Saturdays through October. Most are conducted at the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute in East Troy, Wisconsin at W2493 County Rd. ES on the corner of Townline Rd. Regional farm tours are featured for many of the workshops.

Since 1984, the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute has been devoted to developing an agriculture that can sustain the land and its resources. As a public, non-profit learning center, the Institute seeks to revitalize farming with research, education, technical assistance and public policy. MFAI and CIAS have collaborated on numerous projects, including the Wisconsin Integrated Cropping Systems Trial.
