Announcing the 2019 Market Farm Madness Champion!

Posted April 2019

Hoophouse is your 2019 Market Farm Madness champion! They withstood high winds, late snow storms and controversy over cost share payments to win the tournament. They denied the Excel-lent Spreadsheets, the 2017 champion, in their semifinal and then defeated the Cinderella story of this year’s competition, 11th seed Walk-in Cooler, 54% to 46% in the final. Their victory helps mend their 2017 semifinal loss when Harvest Knife punctured their plans and left them deflated.

Here is a link to the bracket with the winners of each round.

For 2020, we are considering a bracket of all-star vegetable varieties. If you want to nominate your favorites, please do so on this form. We need your help with seeding the field!

Everyone at CIAS hopes you have an awesome 2019 growing season! Keep your tools sharp!
